Barcelona Travel

“La Barca”. Now let me tell you one thing on Barcelona. It’s not just the abode of what scores of followers believe to be the greatest soccer teams of Spanish League. And I learned this only after my journey there this summer. This striking city is perhaps very under-rated as a hot tourist point. This has maybe worked out for the best because unlike other “famous” tourist hot spots, this place is totally undamaged by the horde of vacationers which, though beneficial for the economy of the region, ruin the major point of a vacation – “Getting away from the city for a quiet time.” You can easily get through to Barcelona Via Girona airpor,t inexpensively.

The first thing I noticed about the city was its very distinctive design. You truly have to give praise to Antonio Gaudi for his distinctive manner and amply distinctive concepts. Gaudi was the Catalan Architect who almost single handedly gave the city its distinct architecture. One thing that most impressed me about Barcelona is sheer amount of good Barcelona Apartments  and Barcelona Hotels.. And not just those tacky cramped ones, but also the large luxurious historical hotels which can really enhance your stay. Your tour of Barcelona does not have to end at the steps of your hotel. Barcelona isn’t called “La Gran Encisera” – the Great Enchantress for nothing. With its medieval styled history and art, it’s a great destination spot for travelers, especially the history freaks. Several of the historical hotels are based in what is locally branded as the Gothic Quarter. The scenic streets are designed in a romantic gothic style and are lighted with street lamps designed in the same fashion. This makes the hotels’ locations very well-located for sight-seeing areas. Although a little heads up, if you plan your trip to Barcelona the off seasons,  you can usually bargain for a much better charge. I’ve known recurring travelers to get up to 40% off the suggested price. Do not be afraid to look for for a discount, talk to you receptionist.

Though this is all fine for living in hotels, there’s also another aspect of living in the Barca- the Apartments. A traditional apartment has all that you would dream for a secure stay. After spending some time in Spain, you would always intend to go back. But an apartment in Barcelona, either for selling or rent, can become your second home. Your accommodation in Barcelona also comprise of countless extra benefits of holidays in Eastern Spain. Tons of pleasant beaches nearby, as well as facilities complete the so-called “Spanish Mediterranean experience”. In fact, there are many Barcelona apartments close to both the beach and the famous Las Ramblas, combining the attraction of the sea with the royal historic cente of the city. And of course there are all the somewhat sensibly priced bars and restaurants that you may find all over the city. But then again we wouldn’t look forward to any less of what is generally claimed to be the funkiest town of Spain. The route via Girona Airport is less expensive than the Barcelona airport. The girona Airport car rent and Girona Airport Transfers  are moderately more affordable and relaxed.
