These chess players are the aficionados of chess. You find this type of people in chess clubs or joining chess tournaments.

 As a result of the positive findings of scientific experiments regarding the effects that playing chess has on young people, educators and teachers have set up chess courses in some schools. Children have theoretical and practical sessions in chess. Such activities have been found to improve the performance of students in their other subjects, particularly the ones related to communications and mathematics. From that, it has been concluded that chess players develop both reasoning ability and self-confidence in themselves. Because of this, you will often find young people playing chess in order to improve their mental and psychological character.

 That should have made it clear that chess is a game that can be enjoyed and can be beneficial to anyone, regardless of temperament, or any other type of distinction.
Whatever leanings and occupations people have, they all stand to benefit their mental power by playing chess regularly. And then, there is also the fact that chess enhances one’s capacity to respond appropriately to other people. In this regard, people who hate chess should get started with it. They may discover a deeper and better person inside themselves after that.
